Meltemi Travel Agency, located just a hundred metres from the Port of Parikia, Paros, was founded as a shipping agency in 1965 by Theodoros I. Bizas. We first began as ticket agent for the F/B Elli of Fragoudakis Company. Later joining with Nomicos Lines and the F/B Limnos, Thira II and Anemos, we were capable, for the first time, to provide direct routes from Paros to Thessaloniki, Sporades and Crete.
In 1985 Ioannis T. Bizas, son of Theodoros, took over the management of the agency. Meltemi Travel went on to represent cruise vessels of Epirotiki Lines, Sun Line, CTC Hellas, and was the central agency of Arkadia Lines in Paros for F/B Poseidon Express. In 1998 Strintzis Lines, now known as Blue Star Ferries, appointed Meltemi as its central agency, and this relationship remained strong to this day.
In 2015 and after the completion of 50 years of presence in the tourism of Paros, Theodoros I. Bizas (grandson of the the founder) has become the new manager of Meltemi Travel. Meltemi Travel Agency has evolved into a full service travel agency. We have the capability to print ferry boat tickets as well as airline tickets for all the available companies. Our professional activities have been extended to the field of tours and transfers in Paros and the surrounding islands. Serving yachts, expanding our network in cruising, and cooperating with most of the cruise vessels approaching our island.With the knowledge and experience of 3 generations born and raised on Paros, we can provide the best solutions to all our customers’ travel needs.
